The economic machine controller
Our CP1E series offers all functionality you need to control relatively simple applications, including outstanding positioning capability. All CP1E CPUs offer high-speed USB for quick programming. The “Easy Input Editor” software feature allows faster programming by using an intuitive ladder editor to create an organized application program. The CP1E series comes in two different types: CP1E-E is the most economical, while the CP1E-N has a built-in real-time clock, motion control capabilities, and a serial port to connect an HMI, barcode reader, or other serial device. Several optional units are available to increase the functionality. As the CP1E series shares the same architecture as the CP1L, CP1H, CJ, and CS series, programs are compatible for memory allocations and instructions.

Best in class compact machine controller
When it comes to controllers for compact machines, our CP1L series offers the compactness of a micro-PLC with the capabilities of a modular PLC. It provides all the functionality you need to control your machine, including outstanding positioning capability. On top of this some CP1L models have an embedded Ethernet port with socket services functionality to give you flexible connectivity for monitoring, operating, logging and remote access. The CP1L is completed with a range of optional boards for serial communication or analogue I/O and further expansion units in case more I/O is needed. As the CP1L series shares the same architecture as the CP1H, CJ1, and CS1 series, programs are compatible for memory allocations and instructions.
Fastest compact machine controller
Designed for compact machines, the CP1H is the advanced high-speed all-in-one compact PLC. Four high-speed counters and four pulse outputs are ideal for multi-axis positioning control. The CP1H-XA comes with four analogue inputs and two analogue outputs built-in. This makes it suitable for simple loop control, using the PLC's advanced PID control function with auto-tuning. The CP1H can be expanded with different I/O and supports up to two CJ1W special I/O units. This means that it is open to popular fieldbuses and supports most communication units of the CJ series.
The entry-level modular PLC with a big potential
The smallest members of the CJ1 family are fully upward-compatible to the CJ1G/H and CS1 series regarding instruction set, communication commands and memory organisation. Now even small machines can be built in a consistently modular way, reducing the cost to enhance, expand or customise machines without a complete redesign of the control system. Entry-level modular PLC, compatible with CJ1G/H-series CPUs with built-in pulse I/O for fast and easy motion control, or with Ethernet interface for easy integration. Integrated Loop Control and Sequence Control
An engine for controlling process variables (e.g., temperature, pressure, flowrate) is built into the CPU Unit together with the engine for executing sequence control, delivering high-speed sequence control and high-speed, advanced loop control in a single Unit.

CS1 is Omron's most extensive PLC family, with a maximum capacity of 5120 'local' digital I/Os. Up to 7 expansion racks can be connected to a single CPU rack, bringing the maximum number of I/O units to 80. Any combination from over 200 models of digital I/Os, analog I/Os, control units and communication units can be mounted in any order. The huge instruction set and function block library allow you to write very compact programs, using any mix of IEC 61131-3 Structured Text and ladder language.

The dual-redundant PLC system for never-fail control
CS1D adds a number of dual-redundancy options to the well-proven CS1 architecture to ensure around-the-clock operation without minimal downtime. Duplex CPUs, with or without loop control functions, are continuously cross-checked for errors, without the need for special programs to be written by the user. An even simpler way to increase system availability is to use dual power supply units. Hot swapping of CPUs, power supplies and I/O units allow system maintenance with little or no process interruption.

NJ machine controller with integrated Robotic functions
The NJ Robotics controller is the core of the system architecture which uses the EtherCAT bus to provide the highest motion performance for demanding packaging applications. 1-ch Thermocouple Input Module
• Input type: Thermocouple, mV, V or mA • Isolation voltage: 3000 VDC • Watchdog Timer
Analog input modules use a microprocessor-controlled integrating A/D converter to convert sensor voltage, current, thermocouple, or RTD signals into digital data. The digital data is then translated into either engineering units, twos complement hexadecimal format or percentage of full-scale range (FSR)according to the module ’s configuration. When prompted by the host computer, the data is sent through a standard RS-485 interface. The Analog Input Modules offer signal conditioning, A/D conversion, ranging, and RS-485 digital communication functions. They protect your equipment from ground loops and power surges by providing opto-isolation of the A/D input and transformer based isolation up to 3000 V DC . (ADAM-4011 has transformer-based isolation up to 500 V DC )

Synergy ™ – Redefining Soft Starters With size and cabinet capacity becoming an ever increasing focus we developed the world’s smallest power to size ratio Softstarter. In addition synergy ™ utilises Fairford’s globally renowned Automatic setup feature which allows the user to programme the unit to each individual application using a simple 4 button process. Not only that but in order to keep pace with the modern technology and a fast growing market it removes buttons and uses touch screen technology to bring the user interface to even greater management levels.
With built in SCR failure protection as standard, and full motor overload protection as well as full data logging, field serviceable and upgradeable software and extensive input/output programmability synergy™ meets all of the key design criteria.
More importantly it redefines soft start solutions as we have previously known it.
Ease of Use The display will show all messages in full and in multiple languages. The use of graphic/schematic images will aid understanding. Detailed logging will aid setup and onboard USB will allow configurations to be upload/downloaded and emailed.
Touch Screen Colour Touch screen on all versions.
Plug n Play The SoftStarter will ‘tune’ itself to the load.
Auto Set Up The automatic features in the QFE/XFE will be expanded so that more features can be configured without referring to parameter lists.
Optimizing Energy optimizing will be combined with bypass to give energy saving in more applications. These energy saving features will be backed up by independent research.
Serviceability Ability to keep running when thyristors fail. Boards and fans to be replaceable in the field.
Warranty 2yr warranty, with a 3year extension sold by distributors. This is made economically viable by the comprehensive logging features, so customer abuse can be easily identified.

CJ2H for high speed, high capacity
